Both sides see possibilities after Hounspolder's statement: "This first battle has been won"

The municipality of Leeuwarden may not continue with the plans for almost 400 new homes near the Hounspolder for the time being, the Council of State does not find the plans well-founded. Both parties see possibilities after that ruling, they say. "We see this as a victory," says Sietske Inberg of Milieudefensie Fryslân. “The buffer is under discussion again.”
