Only what the site needs
HelloLWD uses first-party cookies to keep the site working, plus Google Analytics to measure traffic. We do not use ads or social-media tracking pixels.
Cookies we set
theme — first-party, functional, one year. Remembers light or dark. hellolwd_admin — first-party, functional, only after an editor logs in at /admin. Not set for ordinary readers. Google Analytics (_ga and related) — set by Google when the Analytics script loads, to count visits and page views. Language is not a cookie: it is the first part of the address (/fa, /en, /nl, /es).
What we do not set
No ad pixels and no fingerprinting. Weather and news feeds are loaded on the server, so Open-Meteo and the newsrooms do not drop cookies in your browser through this site.
Your choices
You can clear cookies and site data in your browser, or block googletagmanager.com / google-analytics.com. That resets the theme, stops Analytics in that browser, and signs an editor out of the desk. Questions: [email protected].
