Whether the new De Hem district will be built, right next to the bird polder near Goutum, is still not final. The Council of State believes that Leeuwarden has insufficiently substantiated that the land paradise does not suffer as a result. Campaigners are happy: "Exactly on the point of the birds, we are right."
