New vrije school eyes former mail sorting center in Leeuwarden

The former mail sorting center on Snekertrekweg in Leeuwarden is being considered as a potential location for Freya College, the future vrije school for secondary education. The school received the green light from the ministry last summer. Since then, the municipality of Leeuwarden has been looking for a suitable building. The school is holding an open day on Wednesday, November 4, in the Snekertrekweg building, which served as a temporary provinciehuis between 2006 and 2011.
