Old postal sorting center in Leeuwarden in the picture as a location for a new free school

The former postal sorting center on the Snekertrekweg in Leeuwarden is in the picture as a location for the Freya College, the future free school for secondary education. Last summer, the private school received the green light from the ministry. Since then, the municipality of Leeuwarden has been looking for a building in which education can take place. The school will hold an open day on Wednesday, November 4, in the building on Snekertrekweg, which served as a temporary provincial government building between 2006 and 2011.
