Due to the presence of wolves, wild boars and deer on the Veluwe have changed their behavior. Monitoring by the Gelderland Wildlife Management Unit shows that these animals have become more alert. Nearly one hundred wolves currently live in the nature reserve, spread across several packs.

The number of street preachers in our country is increasing and with it the nuisance in some municipalities. This is evident from a tour by Nieuwsuur to several municipalities. BDS Nederland has filed a police report against former SGP Member of Parliament Roelof Bisschop. The organization accuses him of violating the trade ban on products from illegal Israeli settlements. Bisschop previously stated on television that he intentionally bought 2 bottles of wine from the occupied territory as a protest against the cabinet.

The Dutch knowledge platform Raam, which covers Russia and Eastern Europe, has been designated as an undesirable organization by the Russian government. This is the first time a Dutch-language media outlet has been added to this blacklist. The decision creates heightened risks for Russian and Belarusian contributors, who face potential fines or criminal prosecution.

Benefit agency UWV stops developing and implementing a new digital system after five years. The Mediation Service (BMS) had to better connect employers and jobseekers, but according to the UWV, the system does not meet expectations. The project cost around 55 million euros, according to the UWV. The benefit agency tested BMS on a small scale and took additional measures.
