Websites are slowly coming back online after security update in PHP programming language

Websites that were taken offline as a precaution are slowly coming back online. A little before 4 p.m., the organization behind the PHP programming language implemented a security update, which users could install. This allows websites to restart safely. In the past few hours, many organizations have taken down their websites due to two major leaks in the PHP programming language, which is used for many websites worldwide.
