No new bridges, roads and railway lines in Fryslân, nor will there be any promised money

Fryslân will not receive any financial contribution from the government for new infrastructure for the time being. There is only money for the necessary replacement of vulnerable bridges. This is stated in the new plans of Minister Vincent Karremans of Infrastructure and Water Management. Earlier, it emerged that several wishes from Fryslân will not go through for the time being. Karremans puts a stop to the replacement of a railway bridge at Leeuwarden, wider locks in the Afsluitdijk at Kornwerderzand and a faster sailing route to Ameland.
