One-third of requested grid power capacity comes from data centers

Nearly a third of the requested power capacity on the waiting list for grid connections comes from data centers. This involves a total of 15 gigawatts, which equals the combined current power capacity of virtually all Dutch households. Grid operators are urging the cabinet to make clear decisions on where and how many data centers can still be accommodated.
