Provinces terminate contract with bus operator over financial issues

The provinces of Flevoland, Gelderland, and Overijssel will terminate their contract with bus operator EBS in 2029, over six years earlier than planned. The company is suffering heavy financial losses on bus services in these regions. To ensure that buses continue to run until the contract ends, the provinces will provide financial support in the coming years.
