The persistent drought of recent months is causing major problems for the foundations of Dutch homes. An increasing number of homeowners are discovering cracks in their walls, leaving repair companies overwhelmed with work. In the coming years, hundreds of thousands of additional houses are expected to be at risk of foundation damage.
