Second speed camera on Groningerstraatweg in Leeuwarden active from Thursday

The second speed camera at the intersection of the Groningerstraatweg and the Anne Vondelingweg in Leeuwarden starts on Thursday. This means that enforcement will then take place in both directions. The speed camera flashed the other way 11,936 times from last May to August. This puts that pole nationally at number seven in terms of the number of fines in that period. A maximum speed of 50 kilometres per hour applies on that part of the road.
