Stolen ancient vase returned to Sicily by Amsterdam museum

The Allard Pierson Museum in Amsterdam has voluntarily returned an illegally excavated ancient vase to Sicily. The Centuripe pyxis, which was part of the museum's collection for nearly 30 years, was handed over to an Italian delegation. The storage vessel dates back to the third century BC and depicts a wedding scene.
