Study reveals deep human suffering caused by former Dutch transgender law
A new research report from Radboud University highlights the severe physical, psychological, and social harm caused by the former Dutch transgender law. The law, which was in effect between 1985 and 2014, forced transgender individuals to undergo invasive medical procedures. Commissioned by the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science, the researchers interviewed 28 transgender and intersex individuals about their experiences.
