WWF: Wildlife populations have shrunk significantly since 1970, but recovery is possible

According to a new report by the World Wildlife Fund, wildlife populations have shrunk by an average of nearly three-quarters since 1970. However, there are major differences, as half of the studied animal groups remain stable or are growing. The other half of the populations is showing a decline.
