An accident involving a motorcycle, car and pedestrian occurred on the Groningerstraatweg in Leeuwarden. The motorcyclist and pedestrian were seriously injured, police report. The pedestrian is a 21-year-old woman from Tytsjerksteradiel. The motorcyclist is a 43-year-old woman from Leeuwarden. Both victims were taken to the hospital.
Wednesday afternoon around 12.15 pm, the emergency services pulled out for a person in the water on the Groningerstraatweg in Leeuwarden. A car and a motorcycle were involved in the incident. At least two people were injured in the accident. Several emergency services arrived on the scene as a matter of urgency, including the fire brigade, ambulance service, police and a trauma team.
