Replica rings restored to historic Westerkerk lion heads in Leeuwarden

After decades, the bronze lion heads on the Westerkerk in Leeuwarden have been fitted with rings again. Three of the four original rings disappeared during the twentieth century. Thanks to an observant resident, replicas were made of the original door knocker, though not everyone is pleased with the result.
