From about 60 to 120 trees: Nieuwestad in Leeuwarden becomes twice as green

When the redevelopment of the Nieuwestad in Leeuwarden is completed in a year and a half, there will be twice as many trees as now. In addition, the trees get more space than they do now. The municipality has counted 63 trees on the Nieuwestad. During the refurbishment, there will be around 60 additional places. The new trees are also given a location where they can grow better, so that they last longer.
