Skating enthusiasts can take the train to Thialf again this winter. During four major ice skating events, the sprinter between Leeuwarden and Zwolle stops every half hour at Heerenveen Ice Stadium station. The extra stop is during the World Cup, the NK Allround and Sprint, the European Allround and Sprint and the NK Distances. The four events take place in December and January.
