Police investigate cyberattack on Albert Heijn parent company

The police have launched a criminal investigation into a cyberattack targeting Ahold Delhaize, the parent company of Albert Heijn. The retail group filed a formal report last week following requests from law enforcement and the public prosecution service. Systems had previously been taken offline as a precautionary measure after the breach.
