Prosecutors demand long sentences for illegal drug website operators

The Public Prosecution Service has demanded prison sentences of 10 and 6.5 years for two operators of the illegal webshop Slaappillen.net. The site sold counterfeit oxycodone pills containing the lethal substance nitazene, which is believed to have caused at least three deaths. Across the Netherlands, nitazene has now been detected in the blood of thirteen deceased individuals.
