Fewer Women Invited for Breast Cancer Screening Due to Staff Shortages

A new monitor from the RIVM shows that fewer women participated in the national breast cancer screening program last year. Due to staff shortages, particularly among screening technicians, fewer invitations were sent out. As a result, fewer women ended up getting screened.
