Leeuwarden Welcomes 100,000th Resident

At the end of October, Leeuwarden passed the milestone of 100,000 residents, making it the first city in Fryslân to reach this population size. Alderman Julie Bruijnincx welcomed the 100,000th resident, Michiel Goeman, with flowers on Friday afternoon. Goeman recently moved to the Frisian capital from Workum with his family.
