Incursions into EU investigation into gang selling old mobiles as new

In the Netherlands and eighteen other European countries, searches have been carried out in a large investigation into a gang of scammers. A criminal organization would have sold old smartphones as new on a large scale. Together, they have scammed people for an estimated 300 million euros. Seven suspects have been arrested, reports the EU Public Prosecutor (EPPO).
