Deer in Maasland dead after being fed uncooked rice

In a deer camp in the village of Maasland in South Holland, five deer unexpectedly died last week. At first, it was a mystery how that could happen, but a section on two of the dead animals revealed that there was a large amount of rice in their stomachs. The deer camp volunteers assume that someone threw the rice into the manger last weekend. In the days that followed, the animals fell ill.
