Accidents and rain caused the busiest Thursday morning rush hour of the year today, according to the ANWB. Around 8:45 AM, traffic jams reached a total of 936 kilometers, making it the second busiest morning rush hour of the entire year. According to Rijkswaterstaat, there were 577 kilometers of traffic jams at the peak moment.
