'Swimming lessons for children with disabilities should be more accessible'

For children with disabilities, swimming lessons are not always self-evident, especially if their parents have money worries. Municipal income support for these parents is inadequate, says the Mulier Institute , which conducted research into it. Swimming lessons for children with disabilities are often more expensive than regular swimming lessons. The study shows that children benefit from smaller groups of four or two students and sometimes even one-to-one lessons.
