Eyewitnesses on shooting at crowded Amsterdam terrace: 'It all happened so fast'

"My wife and I were eating in the restaurant and suddenly heard two loud bangs," says a witness to yesterday afternoon's murder on a terrace in Amsterdam-Noord. "People came running into the building, and then we heard they were gunshots." Many terrace visitors witnessed the shooting yesterday at the NDSM-werf in Amsterdam. On a sunny Friday afternoon, shortly after 15:00, a man was shot dead on a crowded terrace.
