RTL: Dutch national arrested in investigation into hacker collective ShinyHunters

A Dutch national has been arrested over involvement with the hacker collective ShinyHunters, reports RTL Nieuws. ShinyHunters is known for a large-scale attack on Odido earlier this year, in which data from millions of Dutch citizens was stolen. The suspect is reportedly 23-year-old Pepijn van der S., who was sentenced in 2023 to four years in prison for extortion, money laundering, and hacking companies. He has been free since the start of this year.
