Doctors want to prescribe eco-friendly medicines but lack knowledge

Research led by the University Medical Center Groningen and other hospitals shows that many doctors want to prescribe more environmentally friendly medicines but lack the necessary knowledge. Additionally, doctors worry that the process will take too much time. Pharmaceuticals currently represent a major source of pollution.
