Nos Por aims to strengthen Caribbean community and connect it with Leeuwarden

Being proud of where you come from, but also finding your way in the Netherlands. That is the idea behind the Nos Por Foundation. The name means 'we can' in Papiamento and stands for the power of togetherness. Co-founders Jennifer Stroop and Anoushka Faneyt have been building the foundation since 2023. It aims to strengthen the Caribbean-Dutch community in Leeuwarden and connect it with the rest of the city.
