The historic boltjalk 'Us Thús' is in danger of being lost due to rules and rising costs. The municipality of Leeuwarden sees the ship as a houseboat, which means that it is not eligible for monumental status. That makes a legal difference, because a houseboat cannot be seen as a historic ship, but a houseboat can. The ship has been moored in Leeuwarden for seventy years and has been moored in Warten for a year.
