NOS Binnenland
The police made fourteen arrests last night during a protest in Opheusden in Gelderland against the possible arrival of an asylum seekers' centre. Twelve of the fourteen suspects come from the municipality of Neder-Betuwe, which includes Opheusden. A suspect comes from the municipality of Buren and one from the municipality of Rhenen. The members of the group are suspected of criminal offences such as not listening to orders from the police and open violence.
