You can train not to fall: 'Fall prevention is about staying independent for longer'

A misstep on the stairs or a slip in the shower: every day, 340 people end up in the emergency room after a fall, and 21 people die every day as a result of such a fall, according to CBS figures today. There are courses all over the country to prevent falls, but not everyone is there to jump. Fall prevention training is intended for over-65s living at home who, for example, are a bit shaky on their feet, afraid of falling or have fallen before.
