Municipalities hosting few asylum seekers feel ignored by minister

Dozens of Dutch municipalities under supervision for hosting too few asylum seekers feel their efforts are being ignored by the minister. Currently, 42 municipalities are on a list compiled by Asylum and Migration Minister Van den Brink for failing to meet the requirements of the distribution law. The affected local governments feel unappreciated by the national approach.
