Man arrested after bomb alert and suspicious package at Leeuwarden airbase

A man has been arrested at the air force base in Leeuwarden after a bomb threat, says a spokesman for the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee. He would have called out that he had a bomb with him. Earlier in the afternoon, a suspicious package was already found at the main gate of the base. The Explosives Disposal Service Defence (EOD) is investigating the package.
