Amsterdam wants to counter deposit traps with new trash cans

Broken rubbish bins with torn garbage bags and empty chip bags, cardboard ice trays and used napkins scattered around the street: deposit trappers leave a trail of litter, especially in the big cities. Amsterdam is now installing new waste bins in the hope of counteracting this nuisance, but the question is whether that will succeed. For years, Amsterdam, like other cities, has been fighting against the increased amount of junk after the introduction of deposit on small bottles and cans.
