Bilgaard receives weekly free fruit and vegetables at the community centre

Residents of Bilgaard can now pick up fruit and vegetables free of charge from the community centre every Tuesday. The issue point is a collaboration between Wijkvereniging Bilgaard, Albert Heijn Bilgaard and JOGG Leeuwarden. The ambition is to expand the initiative to other districts in Leeuwarden. On Friday 6 November, a new fruit and vegetable distribution point was officially opened at the Bilgaard district centre by Alderman Abel Reitsma.
