Fatal overnight accident on A76, victim hit by multiple cars

One person died last night in an accident on the A76 between Heerlen and Geleen in Limburg, near the village of Schinnen. The victim was on the highway and was struck by several vehicles. Police report that the person died at the scene around 3:00 AM.
