Room hopes to be able to deploy 130,000 citizens in crises

The House of Representatives is charmed by the initiative to train citizens to be able to support the emergency services in the event of disasters or crises. A majority today supported a motion by the CDA, expressing the wish to have 130,000 of these so-called civilian reservists in four years' time. Volunteers must avoid chaos in the event of a major crisis, especially in the first three days. Police, army and emergency services can the work is not done alone, that's the expectation.
