Restitutiecommissie: return Van Goyen painting to Goudstikker heirs

The Dutch State must return a painting by Dutch landscape painter Jan van Goyen to the heirs. This was decided by the Restitutiecommissie, which advises on Nazi-looted art in the Netherlands. The painting, Vissers aan de oevers van een plas, is part of the Rijkscollectie and is currently located in the Mauritshuis in Den Haag. The artwork was originally part of the collection of Jaques Goudstikker, one of the most prominent Jewish art dealers in the Netherlands.
