Inspectorate warns of growing threat from PFAS in drinking water
The Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (ILT) warns that PFAS in pesticides pose a growing threat to Dutch drinking water. An estimated 21,000 kilograms of the harmful substance TFA ends up in the water annually. These substances hardly break down and can pose risks to public health.
