Pipes and cables expose vulnerability of Dutch railway network

State Secretary Bertram of Infrastructure was briefed on recent sabotage actions that disabled the railway network at nearly 40 locations using metal objects. The incidents, involving pipes and jumper cables, highlight the vulnerability of the train network. Journalists were not permitted to attend the briefing held at a ProRail subcontractor.
