After escaping, Jan G. stayed in Overasselt for another twelve hours, which is how he managed to escape

After dozens of armed men appeared at his gate and shot his security guard, Jan G. was still in Overasselt for a large part of the day. He had fled to family elsewhere in the village. Omroep Gelderland spoke to several sources in Overasselt and, in collaboration with the NOS, reconstructed Jan G.'s flight.
