Every firecracker goes by the fingers on the day of delivery for fireworks in Leeuwarden. ’Here's my surprise package’

If you want to get rid of your fireworks in Friesland because you are no longer allowed to have them in your possession from 1 August, you had to be in Leeuwarden on Tuesday or you can go to Heerenveen on Wednesday morning. Both consumer and illegal fireworks can be handed in anonymously.
