Judges critical of the new surrogacy law Every year, an adorable 30 to 50 Dutch families have a child with the help of a surrogate mother, but a legal regulation for surrogacy is lacking. A new law is in the making. This must, among other things, ensure that agreements are made before conception about who will legally become the parent. Yet judges are critical of the new law.
