Frisia narrowly misses Cup upset; Heerenveen and Cambuur left as only Frisian clubs in draw

LAC Frisia just missed out on qualifying for the KNVB Cup. In the final qualifying round, the Leeuwarden side lost 1-0 away at Noordwijk. That comes as no surprise: Noordwijk leads the Third Division, while Frisia is twelfth in the Fourth Division. Still, Jan van Raalte's team held onto hopes of an upset for a long time. Ilias Latif scored the 1-0 in the 27th minute, but the Frisians kept pace well after that.
