Few inspections carried out despite warnings over sixteen high-risk bridges

An investigation by Follow the Money reveals that at least 16 Dutch bridges are at risk of sudden collapse due to the use of a specific type of steel. Although the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management is aware of the danger, inspections and safety measures are hardly being carried out. The high-risk locations include overpasses on the A27 and A9 motorways.
