Safety measures in Opheusden, municipality afraid of new riots

The municipality of Neder-Betuwe has announced measures for tomorrow to prevent new disturbances in Opheusden. Last Thursday, a protest against the possible arrival of an asylum seekers' centre turned into riots. Fourteen people were arrested. An emergency ordinance applies to the entire built-up area of Opheusden from 5 p.m. tomorrow.
