From next school year, free flu shot for primary school staff

From next school year, teachers and other employees in primary education can receive a flu shot at the expense of their employer. This is reported by the education union AOb via the Onderwijsblad, the magazine of the association. For this 2026-2027 school year, employers may still decide for themselves whether to offer the flu shot to their employees free of charge. The AOb says it has been committed to free vaccination for five years.
